Answer

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

To keep in line with Shariah you should avoid all contact with a ghair mahram  (one to whom marriage is permissible) woman. Allah Subhana wa Ta’Ala says in His Quran Do not come near zina.

Talking to each other on the telephone can lead to unpleasant situations. Once this relationship starts the Shaitan will start playing on your nafs trying to confuse you. This free access can lead to quarrels over the phone which may result in the engagement breaking off. On the hand the was- wasa  of Shaitan may motivate you to take it one step further, then another step until zina starts taking place. In either of these cases the Shaitan will be the winner.

Therefore you should avoid any contact with her until the nikah takes place.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
