2. Music is Haraam. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, ?I am sent to destroy musical instruments?. You state you find it hard to leave music. First and foremost, you should change your work environment. Seek employment in a place where there is no music. That will assist you to leave music. Furthermore, you should ponder if you love Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), how can I go against his mission? He was sent to destroy music and yet I cherish what Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) resented, am I faithful to him? There can never be anything like Islam and music. Any dedication to Islam and music is based on compound ignorance. That includes the Radio station in reference.
