Procedure of men in Ruku: Men should bow down to the extent that their
heads, hips and backs are in line. They should spread out their fingers and
grasp their knees keeping their elbows aware from the sides whilst gazing at
their ankles. The compulsory duration of remaining in Ruku is one
Subhaanallah and the Sunnat duration is 3 Subhaana rabbial azeem

Procedure of men in Sajdah: When going into Sajdah the knees should first
touch the ground. Thereafter, the hands, nose and forehead. The face should
be in between both the hands and fingers should be pointing towards Qiblah.
The feet should be upright with the toes pointing to the Qiblah. The stomach
away from the thighs and arms away from the sides and above the ground. The
stomach should be high from the ground. The gaze should be on the nose.

Procedure of women in Ruku and Sajdah: Women should not go so low down in
Ruku, instead only to the extent that their hands touch the knees. Fingers
of both the hands should be together and placed on the knees. Arms should be
well joined to the sides and ankles of both feet together.

When going into Sajdah, first the knees should touch the ground. Thereafter,
the hands should be placed in line with her ears and fingers be close
together. Head be placed between both hands. In Sajdah, both forehead and
nose should touch the ground. Fingers and toes face the Qiblah but feet
should not be upright. Instead, they should be taken out to the right side.
She should draw herself closely together. Stomach should be joined to the
thighs, the arms to the sides on the ground.
