Answer

Jazakallah for writing to the institute regarding your problem.

I am pleased that you have found some answers to your problem on this website. You ask if there is any medication for this malady. Yes there is. The Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved Nabi (sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) are the treatment and cure. The Quran is a cure for most diseases which afflict mankind, be they physical, emotional, financial or spiritual. Allah Ta’ala created us to worship only Him.

In His infinite wisdom, Allah Ta’ala sent Nabi(sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) to teach us how to live our daily lives and how to give worship. Further, through His love for us, Allah Ta’ala sent the Quran to us so that we could have the guidelines right in our hands, to read, understand and act upon. You may recall that in his last sermon at his final hadj, Nabi (Sallallaahu alayhi wassallam) reminded us that we should follow the Quran and the sunnah.

Brother, obtain a copy of the Ma’ariful Quran by Mufti Mohammad Shafi and read it carefully, internalise what you read and bring the Quran into your life. Your cure lies in obeying Allah Ta’ala and disobeying/ignoring shaitaan. Join the company of pious and learned persons so that by being with them, you learn more about how you can earn the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala. You will find that with time you will find peace and tranquility of Allah Ta’ala descending upon you. Seek Allah Ta’ala and you will find Him and His mercy and benevolence.Do remember to make abundant zikr, istigfaar, nafl salaah and keep your self in a constant state of wudhu. Be punctual with your daily salaah and perform it in congregation. Spend your time in the masjid with pious people and learn as much as you can about how you can serve Allah Ta’ala and His deen. Try to give sadqua daily too. May Allah Ta’ala guide you and assist you, ameen.

and Allah Ta’ala Knows Best
