How can I determine conclusively whether I am in need of fresh wudu if I suspect I have broken wind

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

How can I determine conclusively whether I am in need of fresh wudu if I suspect I have broken wind even if I did not hear anything and am in doubt if what I smell is due to passing wind, although sometimes I may feel slight heat & pressure if it occurs while sitting down.

Answer

If a person has Wudhu, the Wudhu will be considered intact until the
sound of passing wind or its smell. (Hadith)
