Currently I am working in a software house as a quality assurance engineer, who has different software projects. The client bussiness for the project on which I am working these days is related to car leasing and finance. Car leasing and financing is interest based bussiness. I have two question. 1). Is my job Halaal 2). If not then should I leave this job immediately or should I look for the alternative.
Since the company manages a host of software projects besides the software dealing with leasing and finance, employment in such a company is permissible.
However, the specific project you are working on – namely leasing and finance – is not permissible as it assists others in interest-related businesses.
