Are there any exceptions to the prohibition of music? 1) Love songs which are sung by a wife to her husband?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

What about: 1) Love songs which are sung by a wife to her husband? 2) Piano or flute music which attract a husband to his wife? 3) What about instrumental music only used between husband and wife? 4) Is it permissible to learn to read music notes in order to compose songs (without instruments)?

Answer

All musical instruments are prohibited in Islam irrespective of whi it is played for or the type of attraction it has.

It will be permissible to express love to one’s wife only as long as the words have a good meaning, no instruments are used and they are not expressed in tunes imitating songs of the disbelievers. Find attached.
