Assalaamualikum,
I want to have the arabic text of the duah:
“ALLAHUMMA ALHIMNA MARASHIDA UMURINA WA A’IDHNA MIN SHURURI ANFUSINA”
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh
The correct wording of the Dua in reference is as follows:1
Transliteration:
ALLAHUMMA ALHIMNI RUSHDI WA A’IDHNI MIN SHARRI NAFSEE
Translation:
O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself
However, you may also read the Dua in the following way:
Transliteration:
ALLAHUMMA ALHIMNA MARASHIDA UMOORINA WA A’IDHNA MIN SHURURI ANFUSINA
Translation:
O Allah! Inspire in us guidance in our affairs and deliver us from the evils within ourselves
And Allāh Ta῾āla Knows Best

‘Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) taught my father two statements to recite in his Du’a. These are: “Allahumma al-himni rushdi, wa a’idhni min sharri nafsi (O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself).” (Trimidhi,)
