Is it permissible to eat and drink at the home of friends who are working in conventional banks?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

My brother in law works for a conventional insurance company in Pakistan. He also has other sources of income; however, his salary from insurance company forms the major portion of his income. Is it permissible for me and my family to eat and drink at his home? Also, Is it permissible to eat and drink at the home of friends who are working in conventional banks? Please clarify in the light of authentic Hadees.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The ruling on the income of persons working for conventional financial institutions is based on their job profile and major revenue source of the institution.
