Can I ask for a divorce if I was forced to marry the guy and I have no intention of continuing to live a false life

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

My question is as follows. Can I ask for a divorce if I was forced to marry the guy and I have no intention of contiuing to live a false life. The guy is aware that I didnt want to marry him yet still went with things anyway. Also islamically am I considered married despite not giving consent.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There are inconsistences in your query.

You enquire whether you can ask for divorce. This suggests you are married and in nikah.

You also state you did not give consent. This suggests that there was no nikah.

Did you perform a nikah or not? Explain the procedure in detail?

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
