I don’t do wudhu and pray my Zohar and Asar. Can I do qada for these two prayers at home?

I have a few questions:

1. I get doubts whether or not I am clean or not when I use the toilet seat in the washroom on job and as a result I dont do wuzu and pray my zuhr and asr. Can I do qada for these two prayers at home (by taking a bath first) because I feel like the toilet seat is dirty and my wuzu will not be accepted.

2. Can I pray fajr half an hour before its stated time because I have to leave early for job?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

  1.  You state “…I don’t do wudhu and pray my Zohar and Asar”. We are unsure what you meant, you don’t pray Zohar and Asar or you do so without wudhu.

In any case, it is impermissible to pray any salaah without wudhu . You state that you doubt whether or not the toilet seat is clean in the washroom  due to which you don’t perform wudhu. Know that such thoughts are instigated by Shaytaan and should not be paid attention to. However, if there is a genuine reason to believe that the toilet seat is unclean, you may wipe the seat and use the washroom, observe wudhu and perform your salaah at your workplace. You should not delay the prayers and pray qadha at home.

  1.  Fajar salaah cannot be performed before its beginning time even if one has to leave for work . One should check the beginning time of fajar salaah on the timetable provided in one’s local masjid and pray after the time of fajar salaah has set in. However, one may pray fajar salaah after the time has set in before the jamaat time of one’s local masjid. Nonetheless, if it is difficult to pray salaah at home you may want to consider praying at your workplace.
